Don't Stop Dancing
In the Fall of 2020, the JSU Department of Art and Design has created a gallery called "COVID Creations", where it shows off people's works of art created during the pandemic. I contributed to the gallery by creating fanart for one of my former favorite shows, BoJack Horseman (2014-2020). I used FireAlpaca (a drawing program) to draw Sarah Lynn, a popular character from BoJack. Sarah Lynn was a child actor in the 90s sitcom, "Horsin' Around". After the show, she was forced into being a pop star and struggled with drug addiction. She then became a "has-been" and continued to suffer from substance abuse up until her death in 2016. The drawing I drew shows a timeline of Sarah Lynn's life as a celebrity. Her famous line in Season Three's "That's Too Much, Man!", "I don't... like anything about me..." depicts how child celebrities can grow up dealing with past trauma, self-identity issues, etc.
